THE CLIENT This is a British-based manufacturing business with a global scale and one that is the market-leader within their sector. With revenues of over £70million, it is a mature and well-known business with a stable and growing customer base and management team. Ongoing investment has seen manufacturing capabilities double over the last decade and the company employs twelve field-based Account Managers across the UK. THE ROLE This is a newly created role as part of the business’s ongoing expansion and investment plans. Based from they’re newly created national distribution hub and training centre; you will be responsible for all training aspects within the business from training area sales managers on new products and innovations to liaising with their customers during site visits. You’ll build and shape training plans and courses which you will also deliver in the new training centre as well as work closely with marketing and installation departments to help develop and keep updated best practises and instruction manuals for the entire range of product. This is an interesting, exciting and broad-ranging role that will see have getting involved in multiple aspects of the business with you being a key member of the middle-management team. THE CANDIDATE You will be an established training and development professional who can demonstrate success in a similar role for a product manufacturer or distributor. You’ll have the confidence and gravitas to make decisions and self-prioritise your workload to manage the expectations of stakeholder across the business and be able to demonstrate a track record of training and development success in the past.
