Overview
Our client, a global corporate finance house is seeking to recruit a Corporate Finance Executive based in the London office. You will be responsible for advising clients on issues relating to capital markets, mergers, acquisitions and other corporate finance transactions. The Corporate Finance team specialises in providing advice to companies across a diverse range of industry sectors and jurisdictions. As well as providing strategic advice and regulatory guidance to clients, the team provides specialist corporate finance and technical advice on all forms of corporate transactions including fundraisings, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and tender offers. Responsibilities will include advising clients on: All regulatory and compliance matters relating to AIM, Official List and the Takeover Code The acquisition or disposal of a business or control of any Company Any forms of merger, demerger, reconstruction or reorganisation of a business or company Raising equity and debt finance including restructuring and price General corporate and financial matters in relation to the affairs of a Company or the corporate interest of an individual including, in particular, advice or assistance as to capital requirements, borrowing profile and fund raising, investment and dividend policies, shareholder relations Experience required: Good technical knowledge of the AIM Rules for Companies and the AIM Rules for Nominated Advisers Good knowledge of the relevant areas of Listing Rules, Prospectus Rules, Disclosure & Transparency Rules as well as any relevant guidance published including FCA guidance in the UKLA Knowledge Base and ESMA publications. Technical knowledge of relevant rules, guidance and ESMA publications directly relevant to the provision of sponsor services in equity capital markets Understands the responsibilities and obligations of the sponsor under LR8 in relation to the sponsor service Understands the procedures and processes of a sponsor Strong presentation skills Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills Excellent written English Financial modelling skills Accuracy and attention to detail
