Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced and hands on Operations Manager to join a well established worldwide shipper. Dealing with High end Furniture, art work and antiques. You will be responsible for the day to running of planning and management for operations, including safe receipt, storage, packing in a timely manner. Daily duties will include: Overseeing Warehouse and transport staff operations Hands on and getting involved in the warehouse Evaluate and ensure each employee in the warehouse is trained Planning and coordinating packing operations and daily schedules ensuring cost efficiency and productivity Monitoring all goods booked in and out of the warehouse Good customer service dealing customers Managing performance of staff including holiday, sickness and absence Inventory reports Monitoring all health and safety within the warehouse and transport MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE FINE ART AND REMOVALS INDUSTRY Monday - Friday 0900am - 1800pm This job was originally posted as www.caterer.com/job/89773866
