To provide a security service at the working location in line with the Assignment Instructions and customer requirements in order to protect the customer's employees, property and other assets. Although demanding, a role with Securitas will allow you to demonstrate your exemplary customer service skills as you engage with customers, clients and visitor., whilst remaining alert to security issues and keeping everyone safe. Security Officer, Protective Services, Guard, CCTV, Door Staff This opportunity as a Protective Services Officer is to prevent and deter unauthorised access to customer sites by monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate. You will be conducting external and internal security patrols as detailed in the clients Assignment Instructions and providing traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required. You will have the chance to carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate. Other day to day responsibilities for this positon consist of health and safety duties where you will be providing support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises You will also be overseeing the prevention of loss and waste where you will be reporting any instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and/or vandalised. Customer Service is a critial part of this fantastic role so displaying an outstanding level of customer service is an integeral part to this role as you will be taking responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have. Essential Skills To work with us you will need to be confident, articulate and communicate well both verbally and in written language. Our team need to be immaculately turned out, polite and proactive when engaging with customers to ensure a complete customer experience is provided, as we aim to maintain our outstanding reputation for excellence.
