Job title Tooling Design engineer Job description The Tooling Designer will support our existing resource in the design of Tube forming tooling, tooling cassettes which will be installed onto our base machinery. What skills, Qualifications & experience are required? tooling design experience is essential be degree/HNC/HND qualified Manage projects for the range of company's machines Report to the Project Manager and liaise with Sales Engineer to assist in the creation of an initial proposal drawing of the customers requirements Liaise with PM, Design, Production and Seal depts. to ensure awareness of project requirements, trials are completed and resolve any problems to completion Prepare detailed Machine and Tool specification with samples and proposal drawing to be forwarded to the Design Department Produce Gantt Chart to ensure agreed delivery date of the project Maintain client contact at all stages and resolve situations quickly and efficiently. Hours of work: days Basic Pay: negotiable as the client are more interested in finding the candidates with the right skills (however you can be paid salaried or hourly rate with overtime which ever suits) Duration of the work: permanent Location: Our client is based just off the M65 near Accrington is easily accessible from the motorway and has good public transport links Why should you apply for this role?
