Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose: To assist in Test Equipment Storage and Maintenance operations. This will include regular housekeeping of the cell to maintain operation, material packaging/movements for effective stock control and tear down of equipment as guided by Test Equipment Lead Hand. Essential Responsibilities + Complete daily tasks as guided per Lead Hand + Management and Layout of test Equipment StorageLocations + Management and storage of test EquipmentMaterials + Tear down of equipment as guided by Fitter orLead Hand + Housekeeping of workshop + Maintain safe workshop environment + Full control and housekeeping of oil store + Support lead hands with forklift requirements,crane movements + Good communication skills to engage with otherdepartments to support test equipment movements Principal Accountabilities: Test Equipment Maintenance: + Tear down and clean-up oftest equipment Test Equipment Cell: + Storage of test equipmentYard Spaces + Storage of test equipmentworkshop materials + Collection/ delivery oftest equipment incl. loading/ unloading Qualifications/requirements + Experiencein Plant & Equipment (Fork Lift Truck, Overhead Gantry Crane) DesiredCharacteristics: + Prioritizeand manage multiple tasks effectively + Understanding of assembly / test operationsincl. torque + Knowledgeable in industrial tooling + Knowledge or experience of basic computingsystems. + Must be motivated/disciplined and be able towork as part of a team or alone Competency: Lifting Operations Forklift & Power Truck Operations MEWP Working at Height Abrasive Wheels Use of risk assessment, Lift Plan & High Risk Operations Torque Operations Job: Services Title: Tooling - Labourer Location: GBR-Angus/Forfarshire-MONTROSE Requisition ID: 1932387
