Overview
Finance Manager required for a market leading business in Chelmsford to cover a 12 month maternity cover. This opportunitity is perfect for a practice trained ACA Qualified accountant looking for a first move out of practice or a 2nd time mover wanting further commercial experience within a business providing an exceptional working environment with home based working on offer. Reporting to the Financial Controller the purpose of this role is to provide financial oversight on a daily basis to all projects within specific regions. The role is primarily one of professional oversight. Setting of budgets, forecasts and management of cash flows. The role will require knowledge of and adherence to the Group's operations manual and understanding of the Group's risk methodology. Key Accountabilities are as follows: - Finalisation of monthly and quarterly reporting packs - Provide actualised project cash flow updates to the modelling team each month / quarter together with required working capital analysis - Identify opportunities to develop Business Object reporting and efficiencies in SAP - Cash Management - Provide support to Group Finance during the year end audit process The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified ACA from practice or an ACA with two years plus PQE with some commercial experience. You must be experienced in Consolidations and UK & IFRSGAAP. On offer is a competitive package including Bonus and exceptional development opportunities.
