Overview
Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a long standing client and friend to the business in their requirement for a part time Finance Manager/Management Accountant. Working alongside an established and commercially focused finance team you'll be responsible for providing financial expertise to senior managers, allocated budget holders, and senior stakeholders in response to the business requirements to enable prompt management decisions. This is a part time position as a job share and will be worked over circa 18 hours per week. A few key responsibilities include: Contribution to strategic formulation of policy and business planning Preparation of Management Accounts and relevant MI Budgeting and forecasting assistance and analysis Financial planning, reporting and control/audit issues - reviewing and identifying savings. Ensuring statutory and financial regulations are complied with and accounting procedures are adhered to. Plan, recommend and contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of financial systems Manage and motivate staff, providing direction and leadership and undertaking staff appraisals Maintain balance sheet reconciliations Business Partnering with other areas of the business where necessary - ensuring financial excellence is maintained Many other duties in line with business demands. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a great organisation in a part time capacity. The ideal candidate will be CCAB qualified and able to commit to circa 18 hours per week. Strong Excel, communication and organisational skills will be crucial here alongside the ability to relationship manage across a variety of platforms.
