Overview
Mechanical Shift Leader - £44,000 – Liverpool Street One of my clients London sites are currently looking for a Shift Leader to join and manage of their already existing teams. This is one of our long-standing contracts where we offer complete site M&E both tenant and landlord and the successful applicant will look after one of our landlord shift teams. This role will require working a days and nights shift pattern, 12 hour shifts and will come with a market leading salary dependent on your skill-set, qualifications and experience. What will I do? Support the Estates Management Team with the provision of a 24 hr maintenance service Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety legislation and in accordance with Health Technical Memorandums (HTM) and Health Building Notifications (HBN) Ensure that the shift team undertake all planned and reactive work allocated to them in the most effective and efficient manner by managing and controlling manpower and resources/materials on a day-to-day basis. This will include consulting with client and building users to ensure minimum inconvenience or disruption whilst maintenance work is in progress and being carried out Manage specialist sub-contractors whilst on site ensuring that they comply with rules and regulations e.g. undertaken induction, wear appropriate PPE, have good quality risk assessments and method statements, working safely whilst on site etc Be responsible for the issuing of sub-contractor permits (as required) and final ‘sign off’ of work after ensuring that it has been undertaken to a suitable standard. Take on the role of Authorised Person where required after carrying out necessary training e.g. AP (Boiler & Pressure Systems), AP (Medical Gas), AP (HV/LV), AP (Confined Spaces).
