Overview
Our client is very passionate about business travel. Their success is built on expert personal service. They're now looking for a Mid-Office and QC Specialist who can examine processes from both the customer and technical perspective. Come and be part of one of the UK’s biggest success stories in the world of business travel, event management and associated services. Thanks to hiring close-knit teams of experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated people like you, Our client is poised for further, exciting growth. Join them and there’s no limit to how far you could go. As Mid-Office and QC Specialist your focus will be on improving and developing the quality control processes and systems that will underpin their drive to double in size over the coming 3-5 years. You’ll be part of a team creating a continuous improvement environment and looking at ways to improve the mid-office’s future capabilities – be it issuing tickets remotely out of office hours, managing airline technology updates or any other innovation that differentiates our business travel offer from all others. Drawing on your end-to-end understanding of the travel management business process, you’ll be responsible for configuring our systems and ensuring that mid-office provides a seamless interface between point-of-sale and back-office systems. With hands on involvement in building QC checks, you’ll also identify opportunities to improve current procedures and work with other departments to identify issues and roll out new functionalities. Whether your experience has been gained in the front or back office environment, you must have a background in the travel sector, ideally business travel, and should also be able to combine a commercial customer focus with a strong technical knowledge or interest. Like everyone else here, you’re not just enthusiastic and committed, you’re creative too. You want to do things differently: better. In return, you can expect to work sensible (or even, potentially, flexible) hours, Monday-Friday, in a convenient Central London location. Benefits include generous holiday allowance and fantastic industry discounts, enhanced contributory pension plan, reduced corporate gym membership and health cover. You’re also assured of full training and development opportunities, together with excellent career progression prospects. Our client is growing fast but at heart we’re all about lasting relationships and personal reputations. Put in a good performance and it will be recognised – and rewarded.
