Overview

Active Sen are looking for a support worker. This role will be working with a 14 year old boy who has autism and severe learning disabilities. The boy is mostly non-verbal but he does understand basic instructions. However, he is very active and likes sports such as basketball, swimming and also enjoys window shopping. This is one of the top of sen groups for children with disabilities. This is very rewarding to be working with the boy and help people dive deeper into sen. The family are looking for someone to help support the child in the best way possible and commit to him. The role of a support worker: Help the child with his work Support them in their to day to day life Be able to teach them basic skills they can take into later life with them Bring a fun and safe environment for the child to work in What will you need for this role?
