Overview
IT Application Manager - competitive salary plus Car Allowance and benefits. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Application Engineer to join a seriously well-established market leading business here in Norwich. The IT Application Engineer will be the primary technical resource for the software and applications used at this business and will be responsible for driving and managing the full lifecycle of these. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be expected to maintain an expert level of product knowledge and application, resolve issues, provide design and specification development and produce technical documentation amongst other requirements. For this role, you must have a very good understanding of SQL Server and databases, be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have a working knowledge of MS Access. A genuine passion for IT is a must and you will be able to adapt and work in any team environment, or even alone, being able to communicate effectively to those around you and engaging multiple stakeholders along the way.
