Intermediate/Senior Planning Engineer - London (Up to £80k)

McGinley CEP London ,
London, Greater London
Salary: £50000 - £80000 per annum + bonus and benefits

Overview

Are you a Planner within the London construction sector that embraces change and likes to challenge the norm? Do you constantly look for creative solutions to problems rather than just rely on what has always been done? Do you enjoy innovation and constantly pushing boundaries and challenging mindsets? Perhaps this could be the role for you Our client is a progressive, forward-thinking construction and development company that deliver major mixed-use schemes across London. This year will see the start of their latest "megaproject" - a £600m mixed-use scheme in Central London which will take roughly five years to complete. Their project pipeline is extremely strong and we anticipate at least one other development of a similar size to come through this year. Although they work within the building sector and employ some of the industry's top talent, their culture and environment is not that of a traditional construction business leading to an extremely low staff turnover. This really is a great place to work. They currently have a requirement for a forward-thinking Planner who wants to go above and beyond the traditional planning role. Of course, you'll be involved in the planning function from pre-construction to live stages but our client is looking for someone who will push boundaries and look at innovative ways of improving procedures and processes. Read about a new form of technology that's being used in another industry? Can that be adopted to make our client's processes more efficient? You'll need to be comfortable with change and constantly challenging the norm in this role Our client is seeking the following: At least 5 years construction planning experience on London sites (i.e. understanding of sometimes difficult stakeholders, etc). Relevant construction and/or engineering degree. Confident, personable individual, confident of engaging with senior board members, etc. Good IT skills - proficient with Asta Powerproject and Synchro software. Eligible to work in the UK. In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £80,000 per annum plus benefits including car/allowance, bonus, pension and health. Please be aware that given the situation in April regarding London sites, any interview is likely to be over skype and the start date may be delayed until our client is able to reopen their office. Contact Richard Evans in the London office or apply with an updated CV for an immediate response. Services advertised by McGinley Group are that of an employment business and/or agency.
