Overview

Qualified Social Worker (Out of Area LD) needed for Devon County Council, £31 ltd an hour Start Date- ASAP Contract End date- 3 months initially Hours per week - 30 Pay rate - £31 ltd an hour Team - Out of Area Learning Disabilities Location - Honiton Description Complex case work to support assessment, review and support planning for Devon residents placed outside the County of Devon. This will include work to support discharge from specialist hospital;/secure units, making legal applications and inform MH Tribunal Process. Oversight of quality standards to ensure compliance with contractual arrangements will also be an important part of the work. What is required? An understanding of MH issues, Autism and LD, along with a sound grasp of relevant legislation and experience of working with these user groups. Ability to work alone and travel across the country is essential to the post.
