Overview
Our client operates in the innovation / start-up space and are looking for an ambitious Legal Counsel / Corporate Solicitor with a proven track record in investment transactions, venture capital / private equity work. This is a unique and exclusive role which deals with corporate transactional matters involving start-ups and new innovations. There is also a genuine opportunity to grow and develop within the company leading to progression and developing high-calibre skills. Based in Oxford, the ideal candidate will: Be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE from a Private Practice firm that specialises in investment transactions, venture capitalist and /or private equity work Have a strong background in dealing with corporate investment transactions especially in the technology (IT), intellectual property and innovation space Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commercial and business outlook This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded and successful team dealing with interesting, complex work. Our client envisages that candidates with at least 2 years PQE will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
