Overview
Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a privately owned business based in Leeds to recruit a Finance Analyst. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the submission of actuals, budgets & forecasts. This role is split into two parts, focussing on Group Reporting & Management Reporting, with duties as outlined below: Management Reporting Provision of quality management & performance information to the business to influence strategic decision making Reporting month end results Preparation of financial board backs Continuous improve of the financial analysis provided to the senior leadership team Group Reporting Monthly, quarterly & annual submission of group reporting Working with divisional finance teams to ensure reporting is delivered on time and to understand variances from the plan with accompanying variance analysis Provision of quality analysis, in particular working capital & cash movements This role would be ideal for an ACA qualified accountant who is looking for their first move to practice, or for someone who has recently become ACCA or CIMA qualified in industry & is looking to further their career. Knowledge of the energy industry is desirable but not essential and candidates will preferably be able to demonstrate a high-level understanding of Excel, strong interpersonal skills & knowledge of forecasting, budgeting & management reporting. On offer is a salary up to £45,000 bonus bens.
