Overview

We currently have a vacancy for a Regional Transport Manager within our HSE team. This is a home based / field based position covering the North of England and is a full time and permanent position. As our Regional Transport Manager you will manage and coordinate the efficiencies and compliance of the Tanker / Fleet distribution for your designated business area within England and Wales. You will manage and control all compliance matters and reporting clear lines or accountability and responsibility. While assuming the functional responsibility for the management and control of vehicles as required by Driver Vehicle Services Agency (Operators Licence) including all technical matters involved in fleet management. Reporting to the Operations Director as the Regional Transport Manager you will ensure a safe environment is provided for the depot team by completing the required risk assessments and reporting all accidents and incidents onto ‘Well-worker’. You will be expected to monitor and actively manage the compliance in accordance with Tachographs, Drivers Hours regulations and WTD guidelines through active reporting processes in conjunction with the Depot Operations Manager. Further Key skills: CPC Holder, as will be required to be a nominated CPC holder on O Licence Experience in fleet management Technical knowledge/experience of vehicles and tankers Good working application of Health & Safety principles Knowledge of EU driving hours / WTD is a necessity Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise Good listening skills Excellent communicator Benefits provided by Certas include discount schemes, pension scheme and holiday buy and sell options.
