Overview
Engineering Geologist - East Midlands £Competitive Package Our client is a successful, well known Geotechnical & Geo-environmental specialist. Due to rapid growth and continued workload, an opening has become available for an Engineering Geologist to join their team. You will be joining their specialist Geotechnical team of site investigation specialists and become involved in large scale projects across the Midlands. You will be expected to hit the ground running in certain aspects and as a result a minimum of 12 months experience. Some duties of this Engineering Geologist position covers aspects of fieldwork supervision, soil and rock logging and factual report writing. You will be joining a team of highly experienced engineers who will mentor you and provide excellent training and development. The ideal candidate for this Engineering Geologist position would have; Relevant industry experience in Ground Investigation Qualified to degree level in a geological/geotechnical discipline Confident and knowledgeable about various site investigation techniques Completion of health and safety training schemes such as CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS Computer literate and competent in use of MS Office to create spreadsheets and other documents for effective reporting, communication and record keeping Excellent communication skills as this is a client facing role Full UK driving licence This Engineering Geologist position comes with a very attractive starting salary and package as well as a structured career path to allow quick progression within the company.
