About the company My client, an international travel and transport firm based near Farringdon in the City of London who focus on executive travel are expanding their premises and undertaking new business across EMEA. The Finance Director who leads a team of 12 is looking for an additional Accounts Assistant focusing on Sales Ledger to join their modern and vibrant team with lots of progression opportunities for the right candidate and full study support. What you will be doing Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be working on: - Raising high volumes of complex invoices - Allocating monies received (BACS/Cheques/Cash) - Building professional relations with clients/customers - Resolving daily client queries - Supporting the month end procedure - Assisting with VAT Returns, Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements Essential skills/experience - 1 years’ experience across sales ledger - Sage 50 accountancy system experience - Professionalism, integrity and excellent communication skills - A proactive attitude to ensure tasks are completed - Managing multiple supplier/client accounts - Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookups) Desirable skills/experience - Currently studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA - Experience in a travel/transport industry accounts role Benefits and perks - Subsidised lunches on site - Excellent location in the City of London with transport links - Regular company socials Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger) - Transport Location: Farringdon, City of London £23,000 - £26,000 salary plus excellent benefits
