Overview
Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be working with a fast growth manufacturing business in Sheffield as they seek to appoint a Financial Controller. My client is a c£50mill. t/o specialist manufacturer which is part of a larger group with sites across the UK. Following a recent restructure, the Managing Director has made the decision that he needs to bring in an ambitious and commercially aware Financial Controller to lead the finance team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and analysis in addition to organising and managing their small finance team. The Financial Controller will also become a part of the sites senior management team and will be required to become an active contributor within the team, providing financial information and insight to support commercial and operational decision making. This role would best suit an ambitious Accountant, Finance Manager or Financial Controller who feels they have the skills, confidence and agility to manage and lead a finance function whilst keeping a focus on process/systems development. In addition, all applicants will need to be a ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, have a strong background in management accounting and ideally experience within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
