Overview

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist - French and English Speaking Primary Objective: The Accounts Receivable Specialist - French and English Speaking will be responsible for Accounts Receivable. Also, the role contains certain aspects of employee relations as well as providing support to the Finance Manager and other members of the BRG Appliances Team. Tasks Working as a member of our multi-national shared services team, responsible for the accounts receivable function in UK and France, including customer set up, invoice production, credit note production, credit control and statement production Recording customer receipts and following up overdue invoices in a timely manner Regular contact with customer contacts to ensure receivables issues are identified early and invoices are paid timely Producing cash forecast of customer receipts expected weekly Production and submission of VAT returns for France, Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland with supervision, support and review from shared services manager Close communication with the international shared services team based in Australia. Requirements At least 2 years’ demonstrable relevant previous experience in receivables management Well versed in Microsoft Office particularly Excel with the ability to perform pivot tables Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 desired but not essential. Experience within consumer electronics is an advantage Successfully completed apprenticeship within Receivables/Accounting Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a flexible, small and multi-skilled team Self-motivated Demonstrates initiative to problem solve and communicate with other areas of the business to drive resolution (for example operations and head office) Enthusiastic & Flexible Strong communication skills including strong skills in written and spoken English and French language Further Information: Our client offers the chance to be part of the growth of the European expansion of an Australian listed company Part of a larger multi-national shared services team providing training, supervision and support in process and procedures The position offers a high level of flexibility and requires self-motivation and independency
