Senior Engineer (Street lighting) Location – Winchester 12-month contract for a Senior Engineer with experience in highway street lighting THE ROLE • Identifying needs and propose solutions and prepare technical studies, reports and designs for the street lighting elements of highway and transport developments. • Preparing estimates, monitor and review project costs to ensure completion with agreed budgets. • Preparing contract specifications, policies and procedures, on time, to budget. • Providing technical input and project management throughout construction period. • Undertaking or assisting with the supervision of construction works. • Advising County Councillors as necessary and liaising with project Client, project team, internal/external consultants and general public. • Giving due consideration to health and safety, equalities and sustainability in design solutions and working practices. REQUIREMENTS • NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline • Extensive design and construction experience of Street Lighting for highway, highway structures or related projects. • Communication skills able to converse with engineering professionals RATE Negotiable depending on experience For more information on this Senior Engineer contract please contact or call ASAP. .
