Customer Service Advisor - Chesterfield Full time (12 month fixed term contact) Salary up to £18,660 Arvato design, deliver and differentiate customer service on behalf of some of the world’s most respected brands. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Customer Service Advisor based at our busy contact centre in Venture House, Dunston, Chesterfield (the position also requires face to face customer service duties from time to time.) The successful candidate will work as part of a team who are the first point of contact for Chesterfield Borough Council - dealing with a variety of calls for the public regarding council services including; Council Tax, Benefits, Environmental Services, Business Rate, Rents and repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop a broad knowledge of skills and gain experience within a busy public sector environment. Responsibilities · To provide advice and information on the full range of Council services, resulting in an effective first point of contact for service users. · To assess, resolve and process individual enquiries, notifications and complaints about Council services. · To take payments from customers and ensure they are correctly processed, accounted for and banked in accordance with the Financial Regulations of the Council. · To assist in the completion of application forms, enquiry forms, and direct debit mandates, standing order forms etc. · To perform associated administrative duties - faxing, e-mails, copying, printing, filing, updating computer systems, etc. The Person · A fantastic communicator, with a strong background in customer service - passionate about delivering excellent customer service. · Basic IT skill · A team worker · Strong prioritising skills We are driven by technology, differentiated by experience, and powered by people.
