Statutory Accounting Manager - High Wycombe - £75,000 - Qualified Accountant - Audit - External Reporting Your new company A Statutory Accounting Manager opportunity has become available for an immediately available accountant with strong technical and year end accounting. The business is a FTSE 100 business that has being growing YOY due to acquisitions and business improvement. Due to this growth, the company is conducting a large process and systems and processes improvement project which will be run by a team of top performing managers across the organisation. Your new role As the Statutory Accounting Manager, you will lead the production of the year end statutory reporting pack which will be presented the board and the CFO. You will also co-ordinate the accounting time lines and control the submission of monthly numbers. You will be the lead and go to person for the external and internal auditor and will bear the spearhead of the year end process. With the support of a Statutory Financial Accountant, you will ensure that the external group reporting complies with IFRS and implement any changes made to IFRS during your tenure. You will need to communicate with the other areas of the business including the CFO, Treasury Teams, Tax teams and other Finance Directors. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in securing this role. You will be an immediately available qualified accountant who focuses on statutory accounting for larger organisations. You will ideally have come from a practice background with industry experience, but this is not essential. Experience of leading audit processes is crucial and good comms skills is key.
