Competitive Salary package (MC range E) Vauxhall, London 35 hours per week / Permanent (flexible working considered) Closing date: 29th March 2020 (subject to change) About the role We have a rare opportunity for a brilliant individual to join our successful Philanthropy Team at our Head Office in London. This role sits within a high performing and ambitious team and is central to supporting the delivery of our strategic direction. Managing relationships with Major Trusts, Foundations and Statutory bodies, you will develop and submit high calibre proposals not only to an established portfolio of high value Charitable Trusts but to relevant governmental bodies as and when they arise. This role has arisen at an exciting time for the charity, with a new strategy under development, you will be encouraged to think strategically to analyse new funding opportunities for the charity and broaden out our supporter base. The role will play a key part in building strong relationships with our Caring Service teams helping develop and create fundable new and innovative projects. About You You are resourceful, pro-active, optimistic and curious by nature. With an expert knowledge of charitable trusts, foundations and statutory funding, you work well with other teams and succeed in maximising income whilst providing an outstanding stewardship experience. With significant experience and a strong track record of successfully securing significant funding, you can generate new prospects through active networking. You are skilled in managing a portfolio of donors through a variety of personalised and creative approaches and have the confidence to build and maintain these strong and effective relationships. The ability to produce consistently high quality, imaginative and compelling proposals comes with ease. Your superb written and oral communication skills are second to none and you have a talent in connecting with people at all levels. Experience of CARE fundraising database or similar and Microsoft Office is essential.
