There is now a vacancy for a Toolmaker to join a successful company near Crawley, West Sussex. Salary for the Toolmaker is c£40k neg benefits. Tool maker - Overview of Role and Responsibilities: Demonstrating expertise in workshop techniques including milling and turning Working as part of the tool designing and manufacturing team. Designing of new tools and also undertaking product trials. Varied design and development work. Customer liaison to ensure that there is the highest possible standard of product accuracy and quality Reading and interpreting technical drawings as part of the process. Toolmaker - Person Requirements: Toolmaking experience Experienced in a mechanical engineering, workshop environment Skilled in workshop techniques - milling, turning, welding Ideally degree / HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of 3D CAD would be beneficial. Able to measure components accurately using vernier, calliper etc Strong multi-tasking and communication skills (Premier Recruiting Services Ltd is an Employment Agency).
