About The Role We have a very exciting opportunity within the Product teamfor a Senior Product Manager to lead the Savings Product Performance team,driving the Society’s savings performance, in this fast-paced and ever changingcompetitive environment. You’ll be responsible for managing the Society’s savingsproduct portfolio, both front and back book, ensuring we meet our all therelevant KPIs, most noticeably volume growth and margin. You will do this bycreating, presenting and influencing decisions made by members of the Executiveand Enterprise Leaders (EL) team through robust proposals to change front/backbook products. You should be able to use all therelevant tools and MI at your disposal, being able to interpret data and spottrends on a daily basis. You will need to communicate these across the businessin a simple and clear way and establish a network of contacts across theorganisation, at a Senior Manager or EL level in order to have a detailedunderstanding of all aspects of the business, most notably the operationalareas, to effect change and to ensure you consider a balanced scorecardapproach to any proposal. Furthermore, you'll be responsible of the implementationof all the approved proposals, leading a team to deliver all the productchanges in a timely manner with a zero tolerance to errors. You'll play a key role in creation of the annual 5 yearStrategic Plan, the subsequent quarterly updates and the monthly forecasts toensure we are in line with our key strategic product measures. About You You must be a proven leader withextensive experience of leading high performing teams, being fully committed tothe to the personal development of each of your team members. You must be a confidentindividual with excellent communication skills, able to deliver simple butengaging comms both verbally and written, in order to gain buy-in to proposals.You must be able to make decisions and work to tight deadlines due to the fast-pacednature of the markets we operate in.
