Demand Planner | Nottingham | £20,000 - £30,000 How often do you get the opportunity to work for a true market disruptor a business that can honestly say that its goods/services are making waves in the market and taking the competition by storm? We're working with a manufacturing business in Nottingham that are forecasting three-figure growth over the next three years to recruit for a demand planner. Their innovative, eco-friendly products have won them business all over the world and with growth, comes requirement for the best people. They've already heavily invested in new systems and are now looking for someone to build on the supply chain team. Responsibilities: Assisting in processing the monthly forecasting cycle and creation of the demand forecast. Work closely with the Sales, Purchasing and Marketing teams to apply any appropriate market intelligence to the forecast, paying special attention to promotions & new contracts Maintain an 18 month rolling forecast for all sales channels Participating in the Sales & Operations Planning process and ensuring the monthly cycle is completed on time and in full. Support with process improvements Create any required ad hoc analyses and what if scenarios for the Supply Chain function. Resolve errors within the system, ensure that they are escalated Liaise with Purchasing team, Outsourced Supply Planning, Production Planning and Finance functions.
