Job description: Job Title: Lead Dynamics Engineer Location: Home Based with UK Travel Salary up to £45,000 per annum plus benefits To provide Dynamics CRM functional and technical expertise into the development and delivery of solutions across multiple customers: Work with the CRM Capability Lead to establish a Dynamics 365 CRM capability within the DevOps CRM team Lead the technical delivery of Dynamics 365 CRM solutions ensuring the build meets the design and customer requirements and fully exploits the capabilities of Dynamics 365 CRM Adhere to and share a best practice approach to the Dynamics 365 CRM development lifecycle Provide strong technical direction and support to the support and development team, playing a leading role in implementation and service provision The Dynamics CRM Lead Engineer may be expected to coach/mentor Developers. You should be able to work flexibility at alternative locations as required to deliver to our customers. About the role Work with business end-users to understand requirements and develop design specifications to maximise the benefit of Dynamics 365 CRM Lead the technical development and delivery, across the whole software lifecycle, of Dynamics 365 CRM solutions ensuring the build meets the design and customer requirements and fully exploits the capabilities of the software Liaise with key stakeholders in the software development lifecycle (e.g. Project Managers, Technical Support Teams, Business Analysts, Test Team etc) to enable successful delivery Conduct and oversee operational technical support for live Dynamics 365 CRM systems, including the use of service management toolsets for incident, problem and change management Follow SIAM processes to deliver effectively within the wider ITS organisation Adhere to internal development processes and procedures and adopt industry standards and best practice in software development Act as role model to other team members, sharing Dynamics 365 CRM development expertise to promote continual improvement of the skill base within the development team Consider the wider Microsoft stack and how integration with Dynamics 365 can bring additional business value to our customers Work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability. Exercise substantial personal responsibility and autonomy. Plan own work to meet given objectives and processes Interact with and influence department/project team members. Have working level contact with customers and suppliers. In predictable and structured areas may supervise others. Make decisions which may impact on the work assigned to individuals or phases of projects Communicate fluently orally and in writing, and be able to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Contribute to and support technical roadmaps collaborating with technical and business stakeholders ensuring that IT capability is continually improved Be able to successfully engage in multiple workstreams About you 5 years’ experience and proven capability in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Experienced in design, development and delivery across the Dynamics 365 CRM landscape. Proficient in developing, customising, integrating, deploying and supporting multi-channel Dynamics 365 CRM systems. Experienced with the use of the Dynamics 365 CRM SDK. Familiarity with CRM extensions such as customer self service portals. Knowledge of reporting in relation to Dynamics 365 CRM including SSRS, Power BI and the standard Reporting Wizard. Familiarity with the wider Microsoft stack and how it integrates with Dynamics 365 CRM. Microsoft Certifications for Dynamics 365 CRM would be an advantage. Significant experience in other technology skillsets that are relevant to the delivery of a complex Dynamics 365 CRM solution (C# .Net, SQL Server, REST, Javascript, JQuery, Azure services) Understanding of authentication mechanisms. Use of source code control systems. Familiarity with the Sales or Health industry sectors would be an advantage. You should be able to work flexibility at alternative locations as required to deliver to our customers.
