Overview

Clinical Lead Solihull Belmont Recruitment are working closely with a brand new, nursing/residential home based in the Solihull area. They’re looking for a Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN/RNLD) for a full-time role. They are looking for an experienced, person centred, proactive, individual kind, friendly, talented and caring candidates to join and enhance our team of hard working, passionate and friendly staff. The post holder will have an integral role in ensuring safe, high quality consistent frontline service delivery that is evidence based to meet resident’s needs. You’ll need to competent with your general nursing skills, taking bloods, Catheters, Syringe Driving etc. Pay: £36,684 Per Annum Role/Hours: The post is full time on days with a 38.5-hour contract on offer with the working hours being set at 9-5, Monday to Friday. There is an expectancy that you will be flexible and able to meet the needs of the homes. You may be required to work the occasional weekend shift; weekends are paid at an increased rate. Job Description : As a Clinical Lead, you will be involved in shaping and supporting individuals to build self-esteem and achieve their personal goals. You will also be central to leading, managing and supervising a team of clinicians and Health Care Assistants to deliver person centered care. You will work alongside the registered manager in managing the home and deputise in his absence. You will ensure quality improvement and development, this will include producing and undertaking regular audits of all aspects of service delivery, collecting areas of best practice, driving and implementing required improvements, evaluating impact and providing quality assurance. Working in partnership, you will step into the service manager role as and when required to deputise. The role also involves mentoring the nursing team and providing supervision. You will facilitate learning opportunities and conduct appraisals and performance reviews, supporting others in their development of autonomous practice. You will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of clinical governance including risk management and audit, as well as complying with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standard and guidelines based upon legislation, evidence-based nursing practice and NMC guidelines. Essential requirements: • Be a qualified RGN/RMN • Previous supervisory and/or management experience • Ability to work as part of team and on own initiative ie operating and leading a shift in absence of care home Manager • Have a valid NMC pin number • Be committed and dedicated to the role. • Have experience within a Care Home or similar environment • Satisfactory Disclosure completion upon successful application • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Right to work in the UK Duties will include but are not limited to: • Supervise/Manage a team within nursing home. • Comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times • Ensure that all residents have full risk assessments and person-centred care plans in place and that these are regularly reviewed and updated • Take responsibility for medication administration and management • Carry out other nursing duties associated with the role including management of resident needs, audits, record keeping, wound dressings, medication administration, feeds etc. • Promote resident independence and respect their dignity and choices at all times • Work in line with Company policies and procedures Please apply or call the Belmont team today.
