Engineering Capability Lead – High Volume Manufacturing £47,700 - £59,733 DOE & Benefits What’s missing from your current role? Leadership, technical work, industry-level significance? This role has all of these and much more. As Engineering Capability Lead at the NCC, you’re the focal point for your capability group. When you’re not working to meet the technical needs of industry innovators, you’re the guiding light for a varied team of specialist engineers, helping them thrive in all they do. We’re looking for practical, hands-on experience of high-volume manufacturing in a real-life environment. You’ll have a mass-production mindset and understand the challenges around HVM processes in an industrial environment. We're open to hearing from candidates with: Automotive experience: many of the key challenges in automotive centre around high-volume, rapid processing Press/Injection moulding experience: we've acquired new Injection Overmoulder capability Manufacturing experience: you have the fundamentals to understand the challenges faces in high-volume composites manufacture, though if you're a composite expert too, that's a bonus Critically though, you’re a proven leader, with an ethos of continuous improvement and a knack for motivating engineers toward a unified goal. You have no problem managing complex systems and change, leading collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders.
