Non-contentious IP Solicitors NQ – 1 & 2 years’ PQE LONDON
Overview
Well regarded law firm in London is looking to recruit two non-contentious Intellectual Property Solicitors (one of 0 to 1 year’s PQE and the other of 2 or more years’ PQE). The successful candidates will work within the firm’s Patent intelligence team, which offers clients a unique blend of legal and analytical advice. The team assists high-profile technology clients in solving complex problems relating to Patent portfolio licensing, enforcement and valuation. The team works closely with the patent litigators in the department and are often involved in managing international legal disputes. You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team of lawyers, analysts and IT developers. You will have the opportunity to interface with clients and become an expert in the team’s offering, with the potential to progress to a senior level. Specific aspects of these roles include: • Advising on aspects of patent law, especially patent royalty rates, licensing disputes and FRAND • Analysing complex datasets, graphing results and drawing conclusions, and simple economic modelling • Supporting the continued development of the Pattern offering • Reviewing patent licences and • Advising clients on patent portfolio enforcement strategy. Our client is looking for organised, efficient and proactive Solicitors (or Patent Attorney) who enjoys, and has an aptitude for, problem solving and critical thinking, as well a proactive drive to innovate and think outside the box to solve client problems. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and good analytical and data processing skills. If you are a newly-qualified candidate, you will ideally have undertaken a seat in Intellectual Property law.
