Senior Software Engineer / Java / £47k / Newcastle A non-profit Software Company are on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Newcastle. You will join a small agile team and work on the design, development & support of desktop & web-based software. As a senior you will also be tasked with developing and mentoring more junior developers & act as a role model within the team. It's not all work work work though, you will have 34 days holiday bank holidays to put those feet up If you fancy a day or two from home; no problem. The Tech includes: Java8 Spring / SpringBoot Java API's Multithreading Continuous Integration (Jenkins) The Package: £47,000 34 days holiday Bank holidays 10% employer pension contribution Flexible & remote working. Progression: The client has stressed that the medium term progression for the successful candidate will be to either a principle engineer role or a technical architect position.
