You will report into the Finance Business Partner, who will be your line manager and responsible for things like performance review meetings, 1-1s and development conversations. The role of MI Analyst is really important to us. You will be responsible for: To be the key management information contact for the Invoice Finance Business Perform as a Business Data Manager, taking ownership for the accuracy and relevance of data being used by the business, engaging with business, finance and technical teams to ensure a high quality of reporting Support the Invoice Finance Management Team by providing insight and analysis on the performance of various teams within the business (Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Risk and Marketing) Communicate results and findings clearly and effectively, ensuring the data provided enables the teams to make informed decisions and assess business performance Provide the business with high quality, precise and accurate management information on a daily, weekly and monthly cycle, constantly adapting and challenging the needs of the business Responsibility for data and process improvements whilst liaising with the Data Warehouse What do we expect of you? · Proven analytical and interpretation capability - leveraging data to make informed decisions and provide recommendations · Ability to analyse and confidently challenge data/explanations to ensure the integrity and robustness of information · Analytical approach to problem solving and opportunity identification · Commercial and analytically focused in order to drive improvements · Experience in evaluating business performance in both a strategic and commercial context · Confident, proactive self-starter with strong Excel, PowerPoint skills, and SQL experience What can you expect of us?
