Purchase Ledger Clerk (Immediate start - temp to perm) Ely £20,000 per annum We are looking for an immediately available Purchase Ledger Clerk, to work for our client based near to Ely. This full time Monday to Friday role, is being recruited on a temp to perm basis and will see you working in a family/friendly, supportive team. Responsibilities to include: Inputting of purchase invoices Reconciling supplier statements Preparing monthly supplier payment run Inputting weekly labour invoices and staff expenses Preparing weekly payments Dealing with purchase order and invoice queries Liaising with internal departments on procurement queries Collating time sheets weekly from on-site operatives ready for payroll Posting labour costs weekly Assisting with ad-hoc duties where necessary within the department and business Key skills and experience: We are looking for a professional Accounts candidate, experienced in running a Purchase Ledger, with meticulous attention to detail. You must be a team player, adept at building working relationships and have the ability to work on your own initiative. The role requires the following skills/experience: Knowledge of Sage Accounts 50 Experience of Sage 50cloud Payroll Proven track record in accounts Good working knowledge of Excel It would be desirable to have the following experience also: Payroll and pension experience Knowledge of VAT and the legal requirements of HMRC Company benefits include; company pension scheme, private healthcare, 25 days annual leave, free on-site parking.
