Overview
Domus are currently working with a fantastic organisation which supports people with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities within Supported Living services. They are looking to introduce a Business Development Manager to support their growth plans. This job would suit someone who is used to a fast-paced environment and is outcomes focused. This is a new role within a very quality focused organisation who have maintained 'Good' rating's with CQC and aspire to reach 'Outstanding' in the future. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience supporting an organisation with delivering accelerated growth. My client is looking for someone with proven experience in a similar role; a driven and pro-active individual who is looking to join a forward-thinking care organisation who pride themselves on the high level of care they provide to the people they support. Key responsibilities: Negotiating contracts with social services and health authorities. Building and maintaining relationships with local commissioners. Marketing the accommodation to potential client groups, directly or via social services and other agencies. Contact for all referrals. Ensuring that the Referral spreadsheet is kept up to date on a weekly basis. Ensuring new packages are feedback to finance for invoicing to prevent loss of income. Assessing potential clients who may be considering coming to live in the accommodation. Liaise with Sites Managers and the Operation's Manager to establish the most suitable site to meet the individual's needs. Undertake viewings with social services and families. Provide new placement support breakdown and support hours documentation to the site prior to the client moving in, briefing and full handover of new client to the staff team and management prior to the client moving in, to provide assistance on move day. Negotiate fees in line with cost model of each site and as directed by the Director of each site / service. Complying with national care standards. Remaining up to date with relevant care standards legislation. Liaising with the Registered Manager on Packages that require personal care and making sure there is a smooth transition into the service.
