Overview
Role ; Accounts Assistant Location ; Knightsbridge Salary ; £22k-£25k My client are a rapidly expanding executive coaching & consulting company with offices in London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong and New York working with an international client base. My clients HQs are in London, where an energetic and agile team work together closely taking pride in sharing ideas and co building solutions. My client are fast paced business so you must be able to think on your feet. There will be a degree of independence expected within the role so initiative and ability to work alone is a must. They need to be able to hold focus and attention to detail whilst dealing with a dynamic multi-tasking environment. They need to be able to manage their time to prioritize workload and ask for help proactively. The individual needs to have great interpersonal skills working with senior coaches and senior client executives across international markets. The role is predominantly working in the Finance team, so bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally 2 years, with good skills in Xero, XLS and PPT would be a huge bonus. The person will report into the Finance Manager and work along-side the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Finance Manager to: - Building strong relationships with relevant counterparts in client organisations - Work with new clients to onboard them, set up contracts and invoicing terms. - Working with existing clients to set up purchase orders and agree project terms - Receipts & expenses - Credit control - Quoting and Invoicing - working with coaches and Finance Manager - Credit card & bank reconciliation - Prepare monthly coach & supplier payments - Train coaches in some of the financial software to make them more autonomous in quoting and invoice prep Supporting the Operations Manager: - Follow and implement processes to ensure smooth running of the office - Greeting clients upon arrival in London office and ensure the rooms are set up for meetings, managing booking meeting rooms. - Ordering stock and supplies for office - Some diary management support of coaches sometimes required - Some logistics support around events and offsites as required - The opportunity to learn and eventually project manage some leadership programmes - if of interest and capacity About You - Able to use initiative and notice when things need doing - High attention to detail - Able to prioritise your time to focus and manage expectations of others - Happy to travel to some offsites (once or twice per year) - Qualifications not essential, experience and ability to learn and adapt is more important - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Highly competent in use of XERO and Microsoft Office - Strong Time Management skills - Ability to work alone and take initiative - Drive to grow with the business and continue learning Must have the right to work in the UK and currently be based there with a NI number.
