About the Role We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world. We are looking for a talented, ambitious and passionate Director to join our award-winning and expanding team in London. Our Digital, Strategy and Planning practice helps fuel growth and innovation within FTI's global strategic communications division, and we are proud to work with some of the largest, best known and most innovative companies across the world. Our Director will help lead the practice's Data and Insights offer by contributing strategic counsel to a range of high-profile corporate clients, as well as motivating a committed and enthusiastic team and developing innovative strategies and programmes to support business development. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of managing large, complex client accounts incorporating data-driven planning and decision-making frameworks - and confidence in advising clients on insights-driven strategies that draw on various forms of stakeholder intelligence. We also value creativity and lateral thinking, and you will need to show both creative flair and a passion for helping clients navigate a complex and challenging stakeholder landscape. A polished and articulate presenter, you will be at home both planning pitches and delivering presentations to diverse and exacting audiences, including senior leaders of global businesses. Directors are self-starters and able to work in isolation, but similarly fantastic at bringing together and motivating diverse teams to deliver on complex projects and new business opportunities. As part of the role you will be required to support team networking both inside and outside the firm, particularly where the team is focussed on operating as a centre of excellence across the region. An ability to advise on what good looks like in relation to data and analytics, measurement and digital marketing is crucial, and technical knowledge and experience of platforms including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Brandwatch, Factiva and Onalytica is highly desirable. Our work in the digital practice includes communications strategy planning, issues and crisis communications, influencer identification and outreach, content and channel strategy, paid social and thought-provoking digital campaigns, so you will need to be adaptable and able to articulate and operationalise a data-led approach across a broad range of communications disciplines and competencies. Communications moving increasingly away from gut instinct decision-making is forcing many of our clients to consider new forms of issues and reputation management, and we are at the forefront of managing that change.
