COMPANY DESCRIPTION A business consultancy with a difference. They help agencies, Brands and Tech businesses start new relationships. This business has always been the trailblazer in the new business space and have now created a lead generation model which is completely unique encompassing Events, Content, PR and Digital. They now run over 22 events a year, where agencies and tech businesses find, meet and win new clients and brands find new agencies, technologies and brand partners. The events are growing rapidly, and the team is expanding. Moving forwards the business events will include new formats, themes and they have launched their first event in Amsterdam recently. JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting into the Knowledge Director and Group Account Director, the role of Trends Executive is a new position within the team. The Trends Executive will be supporting the insight team following the launch of their 'What Brands Want' platform (an exciting new product for their clients) and the roll out of new processes internally. There is real opportunity within this role to grow with and help shape an investment part of the business. Tasks will include: Proactive trends watching. You will be expected to identify what’s hot and upcoming and could be relevant for clients. Short-form content writing, for clients and in-house. Working closely with internal champions to collate insights from across the business and assist with knowledge sharing. Identifying daily brand stories, writing and uploading content to the 'What Brands Want’ platform. Managing the 'What Brands Want’ platform client database. Interviewing brands at events for BrandTalk videos and assisting their Marketing Manager with the FutureBrief videos. Compiling a weekly summary of brand marketing movers and shakers for the 'What Brands Want’ Platform. WHO FITS THE BILL The ideal candidate will be a competent writer with a flair for the creative, great desk research skills alongside a keen interest in the business and marketing landscape with an analytical mind that allows them to spot trends before they go mainstream. Additional skills that would be a bonus, but are not essential: Experience on Wordpress Experience with the Adobe suite Wider multi-media production experience - podcasts, video etc.
