Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Partner Manager to join our Partnership Development team working at our Kings Cross office with some flexibility with home working. About Us PRS for Music Limited is the UK's leading collection society, bringing together two collection societies: the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society and the Performing Right Society. We undertake collective rights management for musical works on behalf of over 140,000 members. We pay royalties to our members when their work is performed, broadcast, streamed, downloaded, reproduced, played in public or used in film and TV. We support them by influencing policy, supporting and hosting awards and events, and investing in new technology to ensure we’re fit for the digital music age. About the Role The Partner Manager has the primary responsibility for our partners in south eastern Europe (such as Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Serbia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, etc.) You will act as day-to-day contact on all issues with Assigned Partners (AP’s), and develop relationships with counterparts. This will include but not be limited to: Monitoring and analysing financial performance of AP’s Providing analysis on budget variations Budget forecasting of revenue per AP’s Providing monthly reporting on financial performance and business intelligence on AP’s Providing and sharing continuous real-time intelligence on market developments with AP’s Managing and responding to queries from APs ensuring ownership from start to resolution. Including submitting and managing claims from the Royalty Claims team to AP’s Assisting the Head of Partnership Development in identifying business opportunities and risks with AP’s Participating in deal negotiations with AP’s on occasion The salary for this role is circa £30,000 per annum depending on experience. About You Essential The successful candidate will have directly relevant experience, an analytical mind and be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level. You will have proven numerical skills and have the ability to read, interpret and analyse financial data and figures. You will be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with relationship building and stakeholder management experience. Preferred Ideally you will be degree educated, have previous experience in a similar industry, preferably associated with one of the key regions. Experience with negotiations and a willingness and interest to learn is also preferred. Please note we are not able to consider any candidate who isn’t fluent in German. Why PRS?
