Digital Content / Online Content / Social Media ESA Group are working with a unique Digital/Tech organisation who are recruiting for an experienced Social and Brand Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The Role: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for delivering and developing marketing activities across the business as they relate to earned media. Based within a busy Marketing team, the successful candidate will have strong PR or brand marketing experience and be familiar with popular social media platforms, both from a brand and acquisition marketing perspective. You will be confident switching from being strategic to hands-on to meet objectives. Duties & Responsibilities: Developing the social media strategy, driving incremental cause acquisition business growth Leverage social media channels to drive app and toolbar downloads and activations, in partnership with the customer marketing team Managing all organic marketing and campaign acquisition activities via social media channels Leverage the principles of influence and the art of storytelling to foster high levels of engagement and action. Increase social media footprint and grow an engaged audience across existing and new social media channels Skilfully balance acquisition with brand marketing objectives in all social media activities Ideate relevant content topics to reach our target audience via the appropriate social channels Build a social publishing calendar and campaign planning materials, improve related processes Brief creative requirements into the design team in a timely fashion and ensure briefs are met Monitor conversations across all social channels and react accordingly with appropriate content Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on content requirements and deployment for successful content marketing via social media channels Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on paid social activity, ensuring campaign synergy Work with the product team to define and develop product that encourages and enables to share content at key parts of the journey and further increases general engagement across the platform Support in the development and deployment of brand and PR strategies in all communications, internal and external, for the existing proposition, new product lines and international expansion Assist in the development of brand assets, to include; positioning, visual identity, color pallet, TOV. Collaborate with the Partnership Team to support content marketing, social and PR activities About You: Proven experience of being able to define a deliver against an effective earned media strategy. A strong understanding of the principles of influence and experience of using these in marcomms. Strong creative thinking and communication skills with the ability to develop great content and copy which not only meets brand guidelines but delivers against commercial objectives. A focused but flexible mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a start-up business or SME, willing and able to be hands on. Experience of the third sector and additional languages is a plus.
