Clients include household names such as Microsoft, GSK and MacDonalds. The Job Purpose of the Position: This full time role offers a salary range of £24K-£26K. WE Communications UK has grown from a tech agency with two UK health clients to becoming an infliential agency making its mark on the global healthcare industry. The team now work with 7 client partners across pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical technology sectors. In that time the WE Communications "UK Health Team" have been shortlisted and successful in winning multiple industry awards including the Pharma Times Communications Team of the Year 2019 making them a benchmark team withing the industry. As the UK team is currently small this is a rare and exceptional entry level opportunity for a recent graduate to work closely with experienced Account Managers and Executives across a variety of projects, which is great for learning and career development. At the same time, they are part of a global agency which has health teams in key markets such as US, India, Germany, China and Singapore. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Client Service Working with Account Managers to ensure work is delivered on time Proactively providing updates on deliverables and project status’ Press Office Solid media and influencer relations skills - via traditional, social and digital channels Story generation - helping to brainstorm ideas to generate coverage for clients New Business Support for new business opportunities, including research and concept development Working Within the Team Working with colleagues, both WE and external partners, across different time zones and regions Working as an integral part of the WE UK team, and as an extension of client teams too. Who Fits The Bill? Previous experience in communications is preferred, either within a commuinications agency or within an in-house communications team. Experience writting copy for topics related to healthcare is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Someoen who enjoys content creation. Candidates with a background in the sciences would be ideal e.g. related univeristy degree subject. Bonus Points For Prior experince in business administration e.g. working with daily timesheets, raising invoices, prodicing expense reports, etc. Prior expereince working with internal client service teams e.g. Editing or Production Teams to deliver a first class service to clients. Culture: Someone who is looking to work in a fast paced team environment i.e. frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc. Able to deliver strong customer service at all times. Willingness to take risks. Interest in technology and how it’s changing our world. Work in an open office environment.
