Job Description
Senior Standards Verifier - Entry Level Functional Skills - English Reference: SSVELFS2020 Closing date: 18 June 2020 at midday Be the responsible expert in terms of specification interpretation and verifier standardisation for Entry level Functional Skills - English. To monitor assessment and internal verification for the range of components within the Essential Skills programmes in order to report on national standards across centres. The Senior Standards Verifier will: Support the Chairs for each of the subject area with subject specific assessment advice and standards interpretation for a combined visit and postal quality assurance model. Provide sampling-related support and development to SVs Review SV reports to comment on the maintenance of national standards Identify and escalate issues of adverse standards interpretation Undertake a proactive role in maintaining national standards Develop the content for the training and standardisation of SVs Lead and deliver training events to SVs as required Produce an end of year report within the parameters of a defined template in order to comment on nationals standards Report back to Pearson within agreed service-level agreements Represent Vocational Assessment orPearson as required Undertake any other duties appropriate to the work of Vocational Assessment in relation to this role **About Pearson** Welcome to Pearson, the world's leading learning company.
