Overview
Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their busy Team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is recently qualified and wants to 'kick start’ their marketing career. The role will offer on the job learning, progression and opportunities to develop for the right candidate. The role is full time Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00pm Principle Responsibilities: Communicating with external Advisers and assisting them with rebranding and any associated marketing enquiries Updating websites, adding bulletins and new layouts Helping to create / design mass emails Keeping the company’s social media sites up to date e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, including writing relevant content or features Adding new staff contacts to the website Assisting with design work and liaison with suppliers. Attending meetings and creating relevant and interesting handouts, brochures, adverts and new web pages Creating videos / GIFs Skills and Experience required: The successful candidate will be personable and presentable and have some proven experience of working in an online marketing / design / media environment Good communication, administration and organisational skills Graduate calibre (a qualification in media or marketing studies would be of interest) Good working knowledge of some of the following packages: HTML / CSS / Publisher / SEO / Google Analytics / Adobe - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, After Effects Enthusiastic and positive with a common-sense approach Able to work with changing priorities and workload Creative flair and an eye for detail The role of Marketing Assistant is a great opportunity for someone who would like to grow and develop in this area.
