Job Summary Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Sales will be responsible for the implementation and execution of Akixi’s global channel development strategy, with the key objective being to maximise revenue from Akixi’s growing partner network. You will be responsible for managing the team’s pipeline and revenue generation, driving the overall growth of our channel network through new partner recruitment and maximising existing partner revenue. As a passionate and energetic advocate of Akixi, you will lead a small team and support them in developing joint business plans for our top tier accounts, while engaging and enabling all channel partners. Due to the nature of the role and Akixi’s global partner network, the job holder is expected to travel both nationally and internationally as required. What Will the Successful Candidate Be Like? We are looking for a talented leader with demonstrable management skills and previous experience in successfully driving engagement and revenue in a B2B environment, ideally technology sales and/or channel management. With a strong customer focus, you will be adept at developing relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external, and demonstrate proven experience in setting measurable goals and achieving targets to drive success. A pro-active, strategic and results-driven approach will be key to being successful and, as this is a new role in a fast-growing company, the ability to develop and implement Akixi’s channel sales and development strategy will be core to shaping the role and driving the team forward. Key Responsibilities Set short and long-term channel sales strategies and KPIs Ensure effective joint business planning between Akixi and key partners Manage, mentor and motivate a team of Business Development Managers Work closely with Heads of Marketing and Product to develop and implement the Akixi channel strategy Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops growth plans, and sets achievable objectives and financial targets in top tier accounts Liaise with the Product team to propose product enhancements for improving customer satisfaction and sales Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure effective sales and marketing alignment and to develop sales and marketing materials Implement and manage pricing initiatives Assist the board in setting annual budgets Qualifications and Experience - Essential Solid coaching and leadership skills Experience in managing and motivating a remote team to achieve results Strong organisational, planning and interpersonal communications skills An exceptional level of business and commercial acumen Proven success in establishing goals and metrics to achieve results Demonstrable experience in reporting and presenting to a range of audiences An enthusiastic individual with a positive can-do attitude A team player with experience of working in a collaborative environment Flexible and open to change Qualifications and Experience - Desirable 5 years’ experience in technology sales and/or channel management Experience in using CRM platforms to provide reports is preferred Previous experience selling SaaS solutions in a channel environment Experience developing commercial value propositions A proven track record of sales growth
