Overview

Brand Manager Our client is seeking a Brand Manager to join their nutrition division based in Maidenhead on a full-time, permanent basis. The package on offer for this position is up to £55k plus car and bonus. To be considered for this position you must have Brand Management/Marketing experience in the c onsumer/FMCG industry. OVERVIEW This position will see you leading the development of adult nutrition marketing strategies and promotional campaigns including supporting product development and implementing these strategies through marketing campaigns which maximise ROI for the brands in the consumer space. Key success in the role is the effective management of brand and coordination of effort and resources, including direct reports. The core elements of this role are detailed below: Developing marketing strategies which maximise market potential and commercial return for the Adult nutritional range and ancillary products. Significantly contributing to the development of the financial plan, including the development of the Long Range Plan (LRP). Creating and implement KOL and market development strategies. Developing consumer marketing campaigns and effectively managing media planning and development with a significant focus on digital. Monitoring and analysing the implementation and effectiveness of marketing strategies. Forecast demand to a high level of accuracy. Retailer engagement, planning and alignment to maximise DTC channel. Ensuring effective budgetary control within agreed spending limits. Effectively liaising, communicating and influencing with all stakeholders, senior executive directors to General Manager level and international colleagues within the business. Developing effective and productive relationships with people across the business within shared service departments. Leadership within the department compliance with all appropriate colleagues and statutory business and regulatory requirements including company ethics and compliance and code of business conduct procedures and protocols. To play a significant role in the development and implementation of third party alliances. Managing the development of all direct reports through constructive, measurable appraisals, high-level coaching, and growth plans. Education & Skills: - Graduate-level or equivalent in marketing or commercial related subject (Essential) - CIM qualification (desirable) - Experienced and capable at using Microsoft Office applications Accountability: - Identification of opportunities to maximise commercial returns. - Delivering sales and margin goals - Strategic plan setting - Brand planning process ownership - NPD roadmap creation and implementation - Above the line/ Below the line development (including creative) - Managing A&P budgets. - Channel marketing/ sales connectivity - engaging internal stakeholders to ensure strategies are aligned to business goals - Retailer engagement - Market research - generation and application of market insights for portfolio. Track record of commercial over-delivery & solid understanding of business drivers Significant experience shaping and influencing brand strategies across a portfolio of products. Experience of influencing global NPD pipeline & leading local initiatives Excellent project management and ability to deal with conflicting priorities, efficiently and effectively. Solid evidence of agency and budget management. Media planning and consumer marketing campaign development experience. Strength in the application of market research learnings/ insights to influence strategy development. Experience at Marketing Manager level.
