While they’ve provided digital editions of magazine, catalogues and publications for the likes of Time Out Magazine, Screwfix and Kerrang, the future of our business is our crisis management software and this opportunitiy is working within the Crisis Management team. The company's mission is to improve the resilience of businesses and organisations in a cyber or terrorist attack, fire, flood or power outage. It helps companies to keep their people safe and handle any crisis with a combination of communication tools and emergency document handling in a mobile app. The software has seen great success over the past 3 years and is being used by hotels, law firms, theatres and more. The Job This part time opportunity will see you work 2 or 3 days per week, but there is flexibility to work your hours to best suit your schedule. The business needs a Part-Time Marketing Communications Lead to continue driving progress as a market-leading solution and build on its growing brand recognition. By liaising effectively between the CEO, Customer Engagement Director and Product Lead, the core functions of the role will be as follows: To support research projects including market data analysis. Content creation from trade magazine editorials and whitepapers to blog posts and social media content. Event management: Organising and marketing of the businesses half-day conferences (from finding engaging speakers to driving attendance) and managing activity at exhibitions and larger conferences. Identifying and profiling potential consultants and practitioners for the company referral scheme. Supporting your new consultant colleagues and referral network with scheduled communications and news updates. Keeping web copy up to date and engaging. Building relationships with customers, prospects and industry leaders. Creation and distribution of press releases through appropriate channels. Developing and refining the products’ core messages and values. Produce supporting materials to help the sales team, such as case studies and brochures. Attend and contribute to relevant internal and client meetings and events. Who fits the bill? An experienced Marketeer or Comms professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Comfortable taking ownership of campaigns and delegating appropriate work in a clear and timely fashion. A skilled writer who enjoys the challenge of writing for various purposes and audiences. Someone who can build relationships with people from all industries, backgrounds and seniorities. A team player who can coordinate cross-departmental projects.
