Overview

Bollington Insurance are currently recruiting for a marketing assistant to join their skilled team based out of their Clipper House office in Sale. This is a very exciting opportunity for an aspiring marketing professional to join a well-established growing company. An enthusiastic individual to: Promote the Bollington Wilson group of brands by supporting and reporting on a variety of marketing initiatives such as events, email, direct mail and social media. Support Group Marketing Director and Marketing Team Leader as required. WHAT YOU’LL DO Data support – reformatting data, de-duplicating lists against current clients, existing prospects. Maintenance of lead management spreadsheets. Support direct mail and email programmes through data maintenance and logistics. Ongoing reporting on purchase order spend to ensure the marketing budget is adhered to. Assistance with promoting brand activity on social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Assistance with liaising with external lead providers – regular communication with key contacts and reporting on performance and ROI. Regular TPS checking – diarised and communicated around the telemarketing staff. Call stats – creation and maintenance of call stats. Input into Marketing Monthly Report – cost vs income from campaigns. Administrative support such as raising purchase orders and checking the marketing inbox. Knowledge of the processes and procedures for other marketing channels to provide support where required. WHAT YOU’VE GOT Appreciation for marketing techniques. Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge. Ability to use power-pivot tables and VLOOKUP function an advantage. Team player with the ability to work alone or collaborate effectively with others. Good organisation skills and the ability to multitask, manage and meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for both internal and external working relationships. Be curious and challenge the status quo. Customer-centric approach. PowerPoint and Word skills. Willingness to learn. Basic Insurance knowledge is an advantage. Previous marketing experience is an advantage but not essential. Previous experience working with a CRM is an advantage.
