PR Manager - Travel London Up to £40k benefits VR064 A great opportunity for an experienced PR Manager to join a recognised, dynamic, sales, marketing and PR company, which works hard to come up with innovative solutions to position clients at the forefront of the travel industry. As the PR Manager you will be reporting directly to Director of Operations Responsibilities as a PR Manager Achieve exposure in press, radio and television for specified the company’s clients Achieve annual targets set for PR activities. Position the Clients and the company in the UK & European media in a successful manner Ensure the profitability through a commercial and constructive approach to accounts handled and related work. Devise and manage public relations plans on behalf of appointed clients. Design highly creative, stand out campaigns that lead to wide scale coverage. Draft press releases and other press materials to the highest standard, researching new angles in order to keep clients relevant. Manage the editorial calendar and generation of posts across social media platforms for assigned clients. Establish and maintain a proactive contact with key print and online media. Develop relationships with production companies working in television and radio travel programs as well as potential lifestyle programs applicable clients. Organise media events to budget as required. Organise and accompany overseas Press trips as required. Attend industry functions where required to promote the company, brand and clients in a positive light. Maintain and develop network of airline, NTO and where necessary travel trade and PR contacts. Organise and attend exhibitions, events and Trade/Consumer Shows as required. Monitor and track coverage for press clipping reports. Compile monthly PR reports for clients. Maintain and update database for press and media contacts in an efficient and user-friendly way. Skills and Experience Experienced Communications professional with in-house and/or agency experience Highly motivated with a passion for PR and the media Ideally have established wide ranging contacts, in particular with travel and lifestyle media. Excellent personal and written communication skills Keen interest in creative PR opportunities Motivated, collaborative team player with a growth mind-set Results oriented Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
