Overview
Our client, a leading PR and Social Media agency, are searching for a PR Account Director to run the press office on one of their largest consumer accounts. This particular PR Account Director role will offer the opportunity to work on one of the biggest names in the automotive sphere so a personal interest in that industry would be fantastic, in addition to few solid years of agency side PR experience working on ambitious consumer campaigns for big brands. As well as developing campaign strategies and overseeing execution, the core focus for this role will be leading on the press office. Ideally you’ll have a strong knowledge of the media landscape and excellent relationships with the lifestyle press. The PR Account Director position will allow plenty of room for creativity as you’ll be working alongside a healthy team of juniors and campaign managers, coming up with innovative ways of PR’ing a household name. You will have the freedom to think big and will be supported by your team and the agency to execute your ideas in the most effective way. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability of "thinking outside the box" when it comes to campaigns and initiatives, approaching PR from an ambitious angle and being able to spark the enthusiasm of junior team members. Along side the main automotive client, you’ll be the PR Account Director for a number of consumer technology accounts also. This role will expose you to a real diverse mix of PR opportunities which you’ll be able to enjoy exploring within a buzzy agency who work with startups and scaleups, forward-thinking brands and established names?alike. Based in beautiful London Bridge studios, the agency itself offers a creative and warm working environment.
